Job summary

Community hospital is seeking a Radiology Director with relocation assistance in West Palm Beach. The role supervises the Medical Imaging Department, coordinates daily operations, and reports to the Chief Operating Officer.

The director will manage modality supervisors, oversee patient flow and staffing, ensure testing across conditions, maintain protocols and documentation, and ensure compliance with JCAHO and federal/state regulations.

Qualifications

• Certification requirements include ARRT and BLS.
• 3–5 years of radiology management experience preferred.
• Fingerprint background check required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operation of the Medical Imaging Department.
• Communicates, coordinates, delegates, and assigns the daily activities of the Medical Imaging Department.
• Reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer.
• Manages clinical supervisors of each Imaging modality to ensure the quality of work.
• Supervises patient flow and staffing.
• Provides testing for patients with many different clinical conditions and all age ranges.
• Maintains current procedural protocols, computer files, equipment maintenance program and quality control data.
• Ensures facility technical and documentation expectations are consistent with JCAHO and meet Regulatory requirements in accordance with the Federal & State Rules and Regulations.
• Ensures that the section meets regulatory requirements.
