Job summary

Saint Mary of Nazareth Hospital in Chicago, IL is seeking a Director of Radiology Services to provide leadership, supervision, and coordination of the radiology department, ensuring safety for patients and staff. You will oversee operations and regulatory compliance while guiding a team of imaging professionals.

The role includes budget management, staff development, ongoing performance improvement, and collaboration with a leadership team to support growth within Prime Healthcare's network.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in radiologic technology; AMA-accredited program.
• CT or MRI specialized training preferred.
• Supervisory experience in all medical imaging functions.
• Experience as radiology technologist / Nuclear Medicine / other modalities.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Current ARRT (R) and IEMA certification.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Knowledge of Federal, State and Local regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership, supervision and coordinates department activities, ensuring safety to patients and staff.
• Directs all HR functions of the department including overseeing training and ensuring staff competencies, and safe staffing levels.
• Develops and manages budget to meet department, organizational and patient safety goals and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Monitors departmental indicators and PI activities, reports activities as directed.
• Responds to department needs by performing radiology technician duties when needed.
