Responsible for Radiology services provided within the hospital and satellite clinics.RESPONSIBILITIESPlan and implement short and long term goals; organize, define, and manage staff and capital equipment in radiology aligned with vision and mission statementsSelect, train, evaluate leadership team consistent with organizational policies, code of conduct, essentials, performance standards, strategic plan and vision. Coach’s and develops direct reports providing feedback, leadership development, problem solving and decision-making skills. Completes annual performance appraisalsDevelop, maintain, evaluate, and recommend budget, inventory management, capital planning, operating systems, and cost accounting systems as appropriate. Develops variance reporting and accountability for budget adherenceMaintains a charging and billing system to ensure that correct charges are being made and distributedMaintain all clinical services in accordance with federal, state, local and accrediting agency standardsDevelop and maintain administrative procedure manuals, technical protocols, and forms; standards for quality control/quality assurance of procedure, equipment, and staff performance; and technical protocol and procedure manuals. Maintain and/or oversee written documentation of quality performance of equipment and vendorsMonitors compliance with regulatory, accrediting, and hospital policy for patient services, personnel management, and environmental safety in accordance with policies and proceduresAttend department management meetings and other hospital meetings to further management goals and coordinate patient careDevelops, implements, and evaluates an ongoing patient and family experience program, which ensures alignment with the hospital mission.
