Hennepin Healthcare is seeking a full-time Diagnostic Radiologist specialized in Body Imaging to join a collegial team at our downtown Minneapolis L1 trauma hospital. The role emphasizes serving a diverse patient population with a comprehensive body imaging workload.

The candidate should complete an accredited residency in radiology and hold current ABR/AOA/RCPSC certification, with active MOC participation.

Qualifications

  • Board-certified radiologist with accredited training in diagnostic radiology.
  • Active involvement in MOC programs is required.
  • Experience with body imaging modalities (MRI/CT) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide diagnostic radiology services with a focus on body imaging.
  • Collaborate with the radiology team and UMN-affiliated academic activities when applicable.

Overnight coverage is provided by residents in-house and teleradiology services.Opportunities to engage in research, education, and teaching are available, with student and residents rotating from the University of Minnesota (UMN). As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, we are a qualifying employer for the Public Service Loan Forgiveness program.Minimum QualificationsEducation/Training: Completion of an ACGME, AOA, or Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada accredited training in Residency training program in Radiology-Diagnostic as required in the Medical Staff Bylaws.Certification: Current certification in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Board of Radiology or in Diagnostic Radiology by the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology or equivalent certification by Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada prior to the second reappointment cycle as required in the Medical Staff Bylaws. Applicant must be active in all required MOC (maintenance of certification) programs.Clinical Experience (Initial): Applicant must be able to provide documentation of provision of diagnostic radiology services representative of the scope and complexity of the privileges requested during the previous two years.Hennepin Healthcare (a subsidiary corporation of Hennepin County) is a public, integrated system of care that includes HCMC, a nationally recognized Level I Adult and Pediatric Trauma Center.
