Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED; currently attending approved radiological technology program
• Second year radiology student; competencies completed
• AHA BLS certification within 30 days; RT license in PA within 3 years
• Ability to handle medical and confidential information ethically and securely
• Knowledge of medical terminology and equipment used in radiology

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic radiologic imaging under supervision
• Maintain radiation safety and patient protection standards
• Process and prepare images for radiologist interpretation
• Coordinate exams and ensure correct patient documentation
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
• Assist in training new staff and students
• Report equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs
