Job summary

• Peripheral IV starts and venipuncture
• Special procedures such as coronary CTA
• Work in adult acute care and trauma environments

Description:This position is for a CT Tech specialist.The shift is first shift, days, 4 days a week from 07:00 to 17:30.Every third weekend is required, along with on-call duty at least one night per week.An active state license is mandatory for this role or must be in the application process.The candidate must have experience in adult acute care settings and trauma environments.Skill in performing abdomen and pelvis CT with and without contrast is essential.Chest CT skills, including vascular chest imaging, are also required.Experience in head and neck imaging is necessary, including carotid and trauma imaging.Image display and post-processing skills are essential, including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction.Knowledge of isolation precautions, contrast media administration, and radiation safety is necessary.The candidate must also have experience with peripheral IV starts and venipuncture.Special procedure skills such as coronary CTA are required.The ideal candidate will have the ability to handle musculoskeletal trauma imaging.The facility is an acute care hospital with 562 staffed beds and is a level I trauma center.Solid scrub colors are acceptable.Cerner is the charting system in use.Discuss any time-off requests with the manager.The first day of orientation will involve virtual modules and completion requirements.
