CT Technologist
The CT Technologist is responsible for providing timely diagnostic services to both inpatients and outpatients under the direction of a Radiologist and departmental protocols. This position requires proficiency in routine diagnostic CT scanning procedures, including CT of the head/brain, neck, thorax, spine, abdomen/pelvis, and extremities, as well as biopsy and drainage procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and OR imaging services.
- Demonstrate proficiency in processing CT systems and studies, including those with or without contrast media.
- Maintain knowledge of surgical and sterile procedures and cross-sectional anatomy.
- Work collaboratively within the imaging department to ensure high standards of patient care.
Schedule
This is a day shift position, scheduled from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- ARRT certification and MRT/TMB license required.
- BLS certification is mandatory.
- Must be registered in the state of CT.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Travelers must be located more than 50 miles from the facility.
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
