This is a 13‑week contract position.
Schedule
Mid shift, 5x8 hours (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM), with every other weekend required. Morning shifts may be necessary if needed.
Job Description
The CT Technologist is responsible for performing a full range of CT exams and may act as a lead to assist in training and mentoring other staff members. This position serves a patient age group ranging from adolescents to geriatrics.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans including abdomen, pelvis, chest, and extremities.
- Execute specialized procedures such as CT biopsies, brain perfusion, and myelography.
- Assist with code strokes and other emergency protocols.
- Ensure proper documentation and patient safety protocols are followed.
- Participate in training and mentoring of junior staff.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT imaging with Siemens equipment.
- Current ARRT certification in CT and Radiography.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with PACS and various CT procedures.
- Valid CA license required at the time of submission.
