Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Radiology - CT Tech for a 13-week contract in Maryland. Requires 1 year CT experience, MD licensure, ARRT, CPR, with advanced CT certification preferred.

The technologist will perform CT imaging under limited direction, provide patient care, and may assist with invasive biopsy procedures. Strong communication and safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program with advanced certification in CT.
• One year of CT experience.
• Maryland radiologic technologist licensure.
• ARRT certification required; CPR certification required.
• Advanced CT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain CT images under limited direction of radiologist; provide patient care during imaging.
• May assist with invasive biopsy procedures and coordinate with other staff.
• Maintain safety and professional communication with patients and colleagues.

Description:Under limited direction of the radiologist, the technologist performs professional duties involved in obtaining proper computer tomography images.The job duties include providing care activities in the presence of patients and may involve invasive biopsy procedures.Work may occasionally require internal contacts outside the work group to exchange work-related information.Contact with external sources involves providing or receiving factual information.Normal courtesy and tact are required when dealing with others.
