Job summary

The Cynet Health Radiology team seeks a CT Tech for a 13-week assignment. You will perform CT procedures under supervision, help evaluate patients, and uphold radiation safety standards in a fast-paced clinical setting.

Requirements include graduation from an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology School, High School Diploma, ARRT registration, and current BLS/CPR certification. Minimum 2 years of CT experience and NY license/permit are preferred.

Description:The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist performs technical procedures.Under the direction of the Medical Director, Section Head, Clinical Specialist, Manager, and Radiologist, the technologist assists in clinical evaluation and care of patients.This role requires working in a fast-paced environment.Technologists utilize their specific modality to create diagnostic images.They provide patients with a safe and positive experience.Technologists support teaching and continue learning as technology changes.In addition to trauma and emergency room scanning, they perform CT exams on outpatients and inpatients.This includes both stable patients and those receiving intensive care.Technologists also work with research patients and those requiring specialized CT-guided procedures.They practice and enforce radiation safety measures in accordance with state regulations.
