Job summary

Arroyo Grande Community Hospital in Arroyo Grande, CA seeks a Radiologic Technologist to produce diagnostic images and support Radiologists in accurate diagnoses. The role covers X-ray, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, CT, and MRI imaging, with emphasis on workflow, patient positioning, and precise results.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical setting, preferably in radiology setting.
• Experience in Admitting scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Insures daily schedules are distributed to Radiologist, Imaging sections and Admitting department.
• Process examination requests for inpatients and complete order entry into computer system as necessary.
• Answer telephones and takes messages.
• Process patient film jackets for examinations.
• Answer telephone requests for examination reports and call reports to offices as needed.
• Pull films for clinics and physicians offices as requested.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech), you will be pivotal in producing diagnostic images that enable Radiologists to accurately diagnose and manage patient conditions.

Each day, you will perform a variety of imaging examinations, including X-rays, ultrasound, diagnostic fluoroscopy, CT/CAT scans, and MRIs, while actively contributing to a positive patient experience through direct interaction.

To excel, you must deeply understand diagnostic imaging's critical importance, encompassing expertise in workflow, patient positioning, and capturing precise results essential for timely and accurate diagnoses.
