Job summary

Baptist Health Louisville is seeking a Radiology Clerk PRN to manage clerical workflow in the Radiology department. The role includes front desk check-in, transcribing orders, obtaining consents, scanning documents, and coordinating information for patient exams.

You will support radiologists with calls, track QC and STAT exams, coordinate multi-modality testing, and ensure timely readings using EPIC and IMPAX. A high school diploma and healthcare/customer service experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a healthcare/customer service setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Front desk, report room, film library, and EPIC/IMPAX duties including checking patients in, transcribing orders, obtaining consents, and scanning documentation.
• Faxes and corrects radiology reports, prepares outside images for radiologist review, and delivers departmental mail.
• Answers phones professionally, processes imaging requests, tracks QC and STAT exams, coordinates multi-modality testing, assists radiologists with calls, and ensures timely exam readings using EPIC and IMPAX systems.
