Responsibilities

• The clerk performs front desk, report room, film library, and EPIC/IMPAX duties including checking patients in, transcribing orders, obtaining consents, and scanning documentation.
• Faxes and corrects radiology reports, prepares outside images for radiologist review, and delivers departmental mail.
• Answers phones professionally, processes imaging requests, tracks QC and STAT exams, coordinates multi-modality testing, assists radiologists with calls, and ensures timely exam readings using EPIC and IMPAX systems.
