Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Radiology - Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Towson, MD. Day 4x10-hour shifts with start times around 06:30, handling high-acuity cardiac cases in a hybrid OR environment.

Description:Cath Lab Tech or XRT with RCIS is needed for day shifts.On-call required.Travelers accepted, including first-time travelers.Local travelers may be accepted at a reduced travel rate.Will consider RNs in a tech role, provided they have recent/interventional scrub experience.Two Cath Labs and one Hybrid OR will be used.Patient population focuses on adults and geriatrics.Common procedures include IABP, Rotablator, Shockwave, Structural interventions, PFO closure, TAVR, MitraClip, and Watchman.Equipment includes GE Innova IGS, Philips, GE MacLab, EPIC, IVUS, and FFRO.On-call requirements include up to 13 weekdays as needed from 5 PM to 6 AM, Monday to Thursday.Weekends on-call coverage is required for 3 weekends per contract.Holidays may also require on-call coverage as scheduled.Scheduling cannot accommodate block scheduling.Rotation must adhere to submitted requests for time off.Daily census includes a high volume of cardiac interventions.Interdisciplinary support includes IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, and others.Skills needed include hematologic monitoring, diagnosis, and catheterizations.Experience with scrubbing and maintaining sterile fields is essential.Candidates should possess the ability to recognize life-threatening arrhythmias.Travelers must have active licenses and certifications before employment begins.Compliance with onboarding requirements is mandatory.
