Cynet HealthStaff in Anchorage, AK is seeking a Radiology / Cardiology Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment. The role requires on-call duties, day shifts, and flexibility to float among departments as needed.

Description: The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for assisting with diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac cath lab.Candidates with previous charge experience are encouraged to apply.First timers are accepted for this position.The position requires a commitment to on-call shifts, approximately 1 shift per week and every 4th weekend.Some Saturdays will be required as part of the regular schedule.The tech may float to other departments as needed to meet facility requirements.Ability to perform various procedures including angioplasty, catheter exchange, and stent placement is essential.Experience with a variety of devices such as atherectomy and thrombectomy devices is preferred.Compliance with all safety and sterile techniques during procedures is mandatory.The ability to work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team is vital.Excellent communication skills are required to coordinate patient care effectively.Candidates must demonstrate accurate monitoring and data collection during procedures.Responsibilities also include patient education and support before, during, and after procedures.Commitment to participate in ongoing education and training is expected.Flexibility in scheduling is required to accommodate patients' needs.
