Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Radiology - Cath Lab Tech for a 12‑month assignment in Carmel, IN. Day shift, 4x10 hour, with 7:00–17:30 hours and rotating call requirements. Must have 1+ year of experience, valid licenses, and ARRT certification; ACLS/BCLS also required.

Responsibilities include left/right heart caths, catheterization, device management, and sterile technique in a fast-paced interdisciplinary team. Travel experience and strong patient care skills are essential.

Qualifications

• License in hand prior to start; temporary licenses may be obtainable after applications.
• ACLS, BCLS, ARRT certifications required.
• Travel experience is required.
• Minimum 1 year radiology/cardiology experience.
• First-time candidates will not be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform and assist in cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Left and right heart catheterization, balloon pump management, and related tasks.
• Monitor and manage sterile technique, hemodynamics, and arrhythmia recognition.
• Venous access, drains placement, GI tube insertion, DVT/PE management.
• Fistula work and embolization procedures; ensure safety and teamwork.
• Work in fast-paced settings with interdisciplinary teams.

Must-Have:

First time candidates will not be accepted.Call minimum of 2 days a week and every 3rd weekend.Skills required include circulating and conscious sedation.Travel experience is required.

Description:Minimum experience required is 1 year.Procedures include cardiac diagnostic and interventional procedures.Interventional radiology procedures involve access and placement tasks.Special procedures include left and right heart catheterization, balloon pump management, and pericardial effusion treatments.Cardiac emergencies such as STEMI calls are part of the role.Additional procedures include venous access, drains placement, GI tube insertion, and managing DVTs and PE.Fistula work and embolization procedures are also part of the responsibilities.Candidates should have experience with various equipment such as C-arms, power injectors, and IVUS/OCT technologies.Skills related to angiography, hemodynamic monitoring, and sterile techniques are essential.The tech will work in a fast-paced environment collaborating with interdisciplinary teams.Accurate monitoring, managing equipment setups, and recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias require attention to detail.The job involves working with a diverse patient population across various age groups.Floating to other areas within the facility or nearby affiliates will be required.Important to maintain safety protocols and ensure adherence to sterile techniques.
