Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Radiology - Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week assignment in Danbury, CT. The candidate should have Cardiac Cath Lab/EP Lab experience, ARRT(R) or RCIS, and BLS/ACLS certification.

Responsibilities include scrubbing and assisting in high-acuity cardiovascular procedures and advanced imaging support. Ideal candidates will be cross-trained across electrophysiology, neurointerventional, and structural heart labs, with proficiency in devices and access techniques.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Cross-trained cardiovascular technologist with advanced imaging experience.

Responsibilities

• Scrub electrophysiology procedures including ablations and device implants.
• Support cardiac catheterization procedures (diagnostic and interventional).
• Assist with radial and femoral vascular access and closure.
• Support complex cardiovascular procedures and imaging technologies as needed.

Radiology - Cath Lab Tech

Experience: Minimum 3 years of Cardiac Cath Lab / EP Lab experience

License: State Radiographer license

Certifications: ARRT (R) and/or RCIS certification through CCI

Must-Have: BLS, ACLS

Description: The ideal candidate will be a cross-trained cardiovascular technologist.Advanced experience is needed across electrophysiology, cardiac catheterization, neurointerventional, and structural heart laboratories.Proficiency in supporting high-acuity and complex cardiovascular procedures, including emergent and advanced interventional cases, is required.Experience in scrubbing electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, device implants, generator changes, lead revisions, and leadless pacing systems, is preferred.Proficiency in scrubbing cardiac catheterization procedures, including diagnostic and interventional cases, is essential.Candidates must be capable of supporting mechanical circulatory support devices.Experience in neurointerventional and peripheral vascular procedures, including diagnostic angiography and endovascular interventions, is required.Expertise in assisting with radial and femoral vascular access, sheath management, and vascular closure devices is necessary.Familiarity with advanced cardiovascular imaging and technologies, including ICE, IVUS, OCT, and 3D mapping systems, is preferred.Skills in scrubbing structural heart procedures, such as TAVR, MitraClip, PFO/ASD closure, and Watchman, are advantageous.
