Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Radiology - Cath Lab Tech for a 13-week ongoing contract in Baltimore, MD. The role offers a Day shift with 8 hours per shift and requires a minimum of 2 years’ experience, plus a compact or state license and certifications (BLS, ACLS, RCIS or ARRT R).

Responsibilities include performing interventional cath procedures, stent placement, scrub, and managing right and left heart catheterization.

Description:CATH LAB TECH position available.Will accept various shift configurations including 5x8s, 4x10s, or 3x12s.Local candidates within a specified radius are welcome.Certifications required are BLS, ACLS, and either CCI RCIS or ARRT R.A minimum of 2 years of experience is required.Candidates must have completed at least one travel assignment.Required skills include interventional cath, cardiac stent placement, scrub, and both right and left heart catheterization.Experience with rotablader, thrombectomy, stents, PCI, PTCA, and balloon angioplasty is necessary.Preferred skills include Cerner, acute monitoring, room circulator, ACIST, Watchman procedures, Impella insertion, and TAVI/TAVR procedures.Call is required with 1 to 2 call shifts during the week and 3 24-hour weekend call shifts per month.Candidates must be able to manage a patient population that includes adults and geriatrics.Daily census ranges from 12 to 20 patients.Special procedures include cardiac cath lab, right and left heart caths, stents, angioplasty, FFR, rotablator, PFO closures, TAVR, and structural heart procedures.Use of specific devices is preferred.Candidates must possess experience in monitoring and maintaining sterile fields, and must adhere to isolation precautions.
