Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Radiology - Cath Lab Tech in Florence, AL for a 13-week contract. Shift is 06:00 - 16:30 with 10-hour hours per shift and 40 hours weekly. On-call duties every fourth day and weekend, trauma level 3 facility, Cardiology and Vascular focus.

Required: 3+ years in a cardiac cath lab, RT/RCIS/CVT license, ACLS and BLS. The unit uses Meditech EMR and houses four Philips Cath Labs and four Merge Hemo systems. Dress code, teamwork, and patient focus are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab.

• ACLS and BLS certifications.

Description:Weekly orientations are available.ASAP coverage is needed.The facility has a trauma level of 3.The department is focused on Cardiology and Vascular cases.There is one opening for this position.The weekly guaranteed hours are 40.Weekend hours will require on-call duty from Friday 16:30 to Monday 06:00.Call requirements include every fourth day and every fourth weekend.The unit is equipped with four Philips Cath Labs and four Merge Hemo systems.The electronic health record system used is Meditech.The patient population includes adults and geriatrics.The preferred skill set includes five years of scrub experience in a cardiac cath lab, but less experience may be considered if the technician has worked in a high-volume cath lab.Common diagnoses treated include cardiac and peripheral vascular diseases.Candidates should be patient-focused, a team player, and have a positive attitude.The dress code requires black scrubs, and any torn clothing or inappropriate slogans or language are unacceptable.
