Job summary

Yale New Haven Health Services Corp. is seeking a patient care associate to support the Diagnostic Radiology team. You will interview patients, collect data, and prepare the scan room for imaging procedures.

You will enter patient information into EMR/PACS while ensuring confidentiality and smooth patient flow. The role requires a high school diploma and completion of a CNA program or current enrollment in a radiology program, with strong communication and basic computer skills to support

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; CNA program or patient care training preferred.
• CNA or health care related training with basic medical terminology is required or preferred.
• Strong communication and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and collect demographic data to aid imaging exams.
• Prepare scan room with supplies and equipment for exams.
• Enter patient data into EMR/PACS and maintain confidentiality (HIPAA).
• Manage patient flow and coordinate with care team for timely procedures.
• Maintain clean work areas and restock imaging supplies as needed.
• Maintain clinical competency and participate in mandatory trainings.
• Order imaging supplies to ensure continuous service in imaging.
• Contribute to patient experience goals and satisfaction scores.
