Job summary

MedCadre is seeking a X-ray Technologist with a current Texas license to join our acute care network in Texas. The role includes performing routine and complex X-ray exams and assisting with fluoroscopy, while maintaining high patient care standards.

The ideal candidate will work across units, provide accurate imaging, and contribute to a fast-paced trauma center environment. Strong communication and patient-care skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Must hold a TX radiology license and be eligible to work in Texas.
• Experience in a fast-paced acute care environment is required.
• Must be able to independently perform routine and complex X-ray exams and assist with fluoroscopy.

Shift: Day (5x8 Hours) 8:00 16:00 Description: 1ST TIMER - TX LIC IN HAND X-Ray Tech- Req 11005 Will position float between units: Yes Is on-call required? No Are weekends required? No Are block schedules required? No What are expected ratios? Pt ratios are not a measure in DX Radiology. Could Image up to 30 patients per day Special requirements: Candidate must be able to independently perform routine and complex X-ray exams and assist with fluoroscopy procedures. Experience working in a fast-paced acute care environment is required. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center. Strong patient care and communication skills are essential. Are 48 hours approved: No Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Short Term Acute Care Total Staffed Beds: 379 Level II Trauma Center Department Uniform/Dress: a. The dress code for licensed nursing personnel (RN, LVN) is solid navy blue colored uniforms or scrub attire. (Scrub tops may have colored piping.) Print tops are not acceptable attire except for licensed staff in the Children's Hospital (PED, Pedi, PICU, NICU). Women's Services (L&D, Mom/ Baby) will meet the requirements for their unit specific scrub attire. b. The dress code for unlicensed personnel (US, CNA, PCA, NT, MT) is solid hunter green colored uniforms or scrub attire. Print tops are not acceptable except in the areas noted above.
