A leading healthcare staffing agency in Washington, DC is seeking an experienced EP Lab Tech for a full-time role. Candidates should have at least 1 year of EP lab experience and relevant certifications such as ACLS and BLS. The position involves working in a trauma and children's hospital setting, with an average daily caseload of 18 patients. Skills in Cerner and Electrophysiology are required, and scrubs will be provided.

Qualifications

• 1 Year EP Lab Clinical Experience Required.
• Certifications ACLS, BLS and CCI RCES/RCIS needed.
• Experience with inpatient and outpatient EKG settings.

Responsibilities

• Perform Electrophysiology procedures and device implants.
• Assist with trauma cases in a Children's Hospital setting.
• Manage and monitor patient vitals during procedures.

Overview

EP LAB TECH

Shift: 36HRS Day/Evening — 0700-1700 / 1100-2100; two days of late case coverage per week

1 Year EP Lab Clinical Experience Required

Unit accepts 1st time Traveler with EP experience

On Call/Weekend Requirement: None

Floating requirement: None

Certs Required: ACLS, BLS and CCI RCES/RCIS

Certs Preferred: ARRT, Fluoroscopy permit

Skills Required: Cerner, Electrophysiology (EP) Lab, Hemodynamic monitoring / Ablations

EKG Settings and Experience Required: Inpatient, Outpatient, Obtaining vitals, Sinus node rhythms

Equipment Experience:

Required: Philips X-Ray machine/Siemens X-ray machine, Client Micropacer

Preferred: 3D mapping Biosense, 3D mapping Client/Client, Siemens X-Ray machine, Client/Client EP4, ViewMate U/Sound, Siemens U/Sound, Client U/Sound, Laser lead machine

Preferred Skills: Groin closure device, Peripherals, Laser lead extraction

Work Setting Preferred: Trauma, Children\'s Hospital

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Cardiac Electrophysiology study, Head-Up Tilt test, Cardioversion, Internal Loop Recorder, Atrial flutter/fibrillation ablations, Supraventricular tachycardia ablations, Ventricular tachycardia ablations, Device implants (Watchman, Aveir, Pacemaker, Defibrillator), Device explants/lead extractions
