Job summary

Baptist Health Care Corporation in Pensacola, FL is seeking a Patient Care Technician I for Advanced Radiology & Cardiovascular Services. This full-time, day shift role provides direct patient care and clinical support in the Pre/Post procedural setting.

Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff, you will assist with activities of daily living, record vital signs, support patient flow, and maintain a safe, clean environment while delivering compassionate care.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year direct patient care experience in acute care, procedural, or healthcare setting preferred.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association) required upon hire.
• Clinical training or completion of a patient care technician, nursing assistant, or related program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under supervision, assisting with activities of daily living and safety.
• Obtains and reports vital signs, weights, intake/output, and other observations per procedures.
• Assists with admission, preparation, transport, recovery, and discharge to support patient flow.
