Job summary

Baptist Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Diagnostic Pre-Post unit in Pensacola, FL. This full-time, day-shift role involves comprehensive nursing care, patient education, and collaboration with the healthcare team to implement care plans.

The RN will perform TEE, Cardioversion, stress testing, and other cardiac procedures, while maintaining up-to-date licensure and pursuing professional development. On-call availability and on-campus presence may be required.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma/Certificate in Nursing is required.
• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is preferred.
• 1–3 years experience in Cardiovascular or Cardiopulmonary care required.
• Valid RN license in Florida or eligible compact state at hire; BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose patient and family needs to provide quality care.
• Develop, discuss, and communicate a realistic plan of care with patient and significant others.
• Perform nursing interventions and procedures as needed for patient care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of nursing care for continuity of care.
