ARMStaffing is seeking an Interventional Radiology Catheter Lab Technician for a 16-week assignment in Maryland. The role requires scrubbing and circulating expertise in IR and Cath Lab, with responsibilities across high-volume procedures for adult and geriatric patients, including hemodialysis-related interventions.

• ARRT or RCIS certification; Maryland license required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with Philips Azurion C-Arm and related equipment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation and execution of interventional radiology and catheter lab procedures.
• Maintain sterile environment and handle equipment setups.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vitals during procedures.
• Document and communicate patient information effectively.
• Participate in on-call duties and assist with urgent/emergent cases.

Interventional Radiology Catheter Lab Technician

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position with potential for extension.

Schedule

This position follows a Day shift schedule of 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:30) from Monday to Friday, with on-call and weekend responsibilities as required.

Job Description

The Interventional Radiology Catheter Lab Technician will perform various procedures in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. The candidate must possess proficiency in scrubbing and circulating in both the Interventional Radiology and Cath Lab settings. Strong experience with Interventional Radiology scrub/circulation is a must. The technician will work with adult and geriatric patients, focusing on diagnoses related to hemodialysis access, biopsies, and other interventions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and execution of interventional radiology and catheter lab procedures.
• Maintain a sterile environment and handle equipment setups.
• Perform patient assessments and monitor vitals during procedures.
• Document and communicate patient information effectively.
• Participate in on-call duties and assist with urgent/emergent cases as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of strong experience in Interventional Radiology and/or Cath Lab.
• ARRT or RCIS certification is acceptable; state of Maryland license is required.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with specialized equipment such as Phillips Azurion C-Arm, angioplasty balloons, and tunneled HD catheters is preferred.
