Job summary

Steinberg Diagnostic Medical Imaging in Las Vegas, NV is seeking an onsite Billing Department Supervisor to oversee daily operations, staffing, and training, ensuring timely resolution of customer billing inquiries. You will implement policies, coordinate with PPO networks and TPAs on contracts and coding education, and maintain CPT/ICD-10 accuracy across systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; degree preferred.
• Prior experience in medical billing and collections preferred.
• Radiology Certified Coder RCC or AAPC.
• 3–5 years coding experience in all modalities.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• No CMS disqualifying events.
• Experience with Intergy (or similar billing software) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily oversight of billing department operations, including staff support and workflow management.
• Support hiring, training, and ongoing development of billing team members.
• Address and resolve customer billing inquiries and complaints in a timely, professional manner.
• Implement, maintain, and enforce billing policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with PPO networks and TPA payers regarding contracts, reimbursements, and coding education.
• Ensure CPT and ICD-10 codes are accurate and up to date across all systems.
• Partner with the credentialing office to obtain and maintain provider ID numbers for new radiologists.
• Monitor billing processes to ensure compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support departmental and organizational operations.
