QUALITY MEDICAL IMAGING OF NEVADA seeks a skilled Billing Specialist to join our medical billing team in Las Vegas. You will process and follow up on insurance claims, assist patients with coverage questions, and help ensure timely payments across Medicare, Medicaid, and private payers.

The role requires 3–5 years of medical billing experience, proficiency with ICD-10 and CPT coding, and strong communication and accounting basics.

Qualifications

• Three to five years of medical billing experience with ICD-10 and CPT codes.
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles.

Responsibilities

• Submit clean insurance claims by paper or electronic submission.
• Track delinquent collections and denials.
• Review patient statements for accuracy.
• Post payments and adjust accounts per guidelines.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and Medicare/Medicaid rules.
• Coordinate with insurers to meet pre-authorization requirements.
• Assist intake with insurance verification.
• Address patient billing inquiries and issues.
• Refer complex cases to Billing Supervisor as needed.
