Job summary

Mercyhealth Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville, WI is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for day shifts (10-hour) Sunday–Wednesday. You will perform diagnostic radiographic, portable, C-arm and fluoroscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and high-quality imaging.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• One to Three years experience preferred.
• Will consider new graduates.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic, portable, c-arm and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Reviews patients’ clinical history and ensures appropriate orders; collaborate with radiologist as needed.
• Positions patient to demonstrate anatomy and maintain patient comfort.
• Operates imaging equipment and image capture devices for procedures.
• Initiates basic life support when necessary.
• Follows ALARA principles to minimize exposure to patient and staff.
• Documents XR/FL procedures in electronic medical records and PACS.
• Provides instruction for radiography students and staff partners.
