Job summary

Southern New Hampshire Health's Access Center Coordinators play a critical role in connecting patients with timely care. This full-time position emphasizes registration, scheduling, referrals, and insurance verification in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Under the Manager, Access and Engagement, you will support prior authorizations with a focus on radiology, document accurately in EPIC, and ensure HIPAA-compliant handling of patient information while delivering outstanding customer

Qualifications

• Experience with Prior Authorization
• High school diploma or equivalent; healthcare/registration experience preferred
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Strong data entry and documentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Ability to work remotely or off-site as approved by management

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for access to care.
• Coordinate registration and scheduling for new patient appointments.
• Document patient information in EPIC and other systems.
• Answer calls, triage inquiries, and document communications.
• Provide information about practices, providers, and services.
• Arrange interpreter services and other support resources.
• Process referrals and prior authorization requests.
• Verify insurance eligibility and assist with payer appeals.
• Maintain patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Assist with onboarding and training of new staff.
