The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Staff Technologist in Diagnostic Radiology to provide patient services using imaging modalities and to perform diagnostic procedures. Job Description Summary: The Staff Technologist provides patient services using imaging modalities, performs diagnostic procedures.
Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology
Experience: Competency in components of Imaging practice as appropriate
Licenses/Certificates: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or eligible. Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required (SCRQSA). Advanced ARRT preferred. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) with the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
Note: This is a PRN as-needed position. You must be available to work at least 12 hours bi-weekly, as needed according to departmental demands. You may be required to work additional hours if requested by your supervisor to accomplish work objectives. Work hours may vary (increase or decrease) depending on the needs of the unit.
