Job summary

Griffin Health in Connecticut seeks a dedicated Radiological Technologist to join the radiology team. Under supervision of a Radiologist, you will perform diagnostic imaging procedures and support quality patient care in a clinical imaging environment.

The role requires ARRT registration, CT license in Connecticut, and an associate degree, with a bachelor’s degree preferred. One year of staff radiographer experience is expected, with opportunities to train new graduates.

Overview:
Griffin Health is seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiological Technologist to join our team. This leadership role is essential in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services while supporting and guiding a team of technologists in a collaborative healthcare environment.

Main Function:
Under the supervision of a Radiologist, the Radiological Technologist performs a variety of technical and professional procedures in the application of prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis and therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with provider orders and departmental protocols
  • Ensure quality control and optimal patient care
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards and regulatory guidelines
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to support clinical excellence
Education & Certification
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • Connecticut State License required
  • Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Experience
  • One (1) year clinical experience as a staff radiographer. Will train new graduate of a JRCERT approved program for Diagnostic Radiology.
  • Strong technical skills
