Job summary

Iredell Memorial Hospital Incorporated is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging and support patient care in a busy hospital setting.

The role requires ARRT registration or registry eligibility, BLS certification, strong interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to operate and maintain radiologic equipment safely. Shift: Sat, Sun, Mon 8:00 AM - 8:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology or registry eligible.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and registered within 1 year of hire date.
• Registry must be current and updated before expiration date.
• Current BLS certification through The American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Ability to effectively deal with patients, families, hospital staff and physicians.
• Excellent computer, interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
• Position patients accurately to capture the required images while minimizing radiation exposure.

Essential Physical Requirements

Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include standing, bending, stooping and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
