Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant scientific field.
• Minimum 5 years of laboratory management or supervisory experience.
• Experience managing technical staff in a regulated laboratory environment.
• Knowledge of radiation safety principles and regulatory requirements.
• Proven budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance experience.
• Strong organizational, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency with LIMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, coach, and develop a team of ~17 laboratory professionals.
• Direct daily lab operations and prioritize workload to meet due dates.
• Monitor production metrics and implement efficiency improvements.
• Manage budgets, expenses, and labor utilization.
• Serve as Health and Safety Officer and Radiation Safety Officer as needed.
• Ensure compliance with quality systems, licenses, and regulations.
• Oversee maintenance and calibration of instrumentation and equipment.
• Collaborate with clients to address technical questions and service issues.
• Lead safety investigations and root-cause analyses.
• Participate in strategic planning and cross-functional projects.
