Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Radiological Control Technician to monitor radiological conditions and support occupational radiation protection at the Hanford site. You will perform contamination and radiation control tasks, conduct radiological surveys, establish postings, and monitor control areas to ensure safety.

Role requires rotating shift work (4 days on/4 days off) and the ability to obtain a DOE badge, pass drug/background checks, and work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Requires HS Diploma or GED.
• Must pass medical evaluation per 10 CFR 851.
• Must be able to wear PPE.
• Shift work is required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor radiological conditions for occupational protection.
• Perform and document radiological surveys and monitoring.
• Establish area radiological postings and controls.
• Enter radiologically/chemically controlled areas with PPE as required.
