Job summary

Idaho Environmental Coalition, LLC is seeking a Radiological Control Specialist / Health Physicist in Idaho Falls to support the RP program and radiological engineering for ICP projects. You will supervise radiological controls, review activities, and promote ALARA across operations.

The role requires a DOE-compatible background, with ABHP/NRRPT equivalents or advanced RP degrees as acceptable equivalencies, and the ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Health Physics, Radiological Science, Engineering, or related physical science.
• Equivalent work experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree per DOE Order 426.2.
• 2 years relevant experience for Grade 15; 12 years for Grade 18; nuclear DOE experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide Health Physics support for selected projects and the RP Program.
• Perform advanced health physics evaluations and assist in RP program improvements.
• Ensure ALARA principles and regulatory compliance in radiological activities.
• Review radiological work activities and develop procedures and documentation.
