Job summary

Atlanta Technical College (ATC) is seeking a part-time Adjunct Instructor for Radiologic Technology to join the Academic and Student Affairs Division, Health and Public Safety Department at ATC's Main campus just south of Downtown Atlanta.

The role involves delivering instruction, coordinating clinical education, and mentoring students across campus labs and affiliated sites, including travel to clinicals as needed.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in education or health-related field and have graduated from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Current ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology.
• Registered Radiographer with at least one year experience in diagnostic radiography.
• Two or more years of diagnostic radiography experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver instruction for Radiologic Technology courses.
• Utilize varied teaching techniques to facilitate the learning process.
• Assess student progress with tests, grading, and feedback.
• Plan, develop, and instruct program-related material to students on various platforms.
• Hands-on lab instruction on campus to reinforce lecture material.
• Travel to affiliated clinical sites to visit students during clinicals and complete program requirements.
• Develop course syllabi, goals and objectives.
• Evaluate student progress towards goals and objectives.
• Attend staff development trainings, workshops, and conferences.
• Assist in academic support services including advisement and tutoring.
• Coordinate and evaluate clinical education effectiveness through site visits.
• Provide clinical instruction and/or coordinate clinical competency evaluations.
