College of the Mainland invites applications for a Radiologic Technology Adjunct Instructor. The role supports lecture, lab, and clinical site visits for Radiologic Technology students.
It is based on program needs and requires prior radiologic technologist experience. Ideal candidates will have a degree in radiologic technology or education, strong teaching and advising skills, and the ability to develop and evaluate course materials.

Three years full-time experience as a Registered Radiologic Technologist. Knowledgeable of course development, instruction, evaluation, and academic advising.
Preferred Education/Training/Experience
Prior experience as a didactic or clinical instructor in a radiologic technology program. Proficient in course development, instruction, evaluation, supervision, and academic advising. Bachelor’s Degree in radiologic technology or education
Communicate effectively in written and oral communication. Knowledgeable in instruction, evaluation, supervision, and academic advising. Technology literate. Detailed knowledge of radiographic positioning, anatomy, and use of various types of imaging equipment.
Preferred Knowledge & Skills
Prior teaching, supervision, and evaluation experience.
Job Duties
Licensing/Certification Requirements
Holds current unencumbered American Registry of Radiologic Technologists ( ARR ) certification and registration. Current unencumbered Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist license (or obtain within one month of hire).
