Job summary

Urgent Team in Knoxville, TN is seeking a Medical Assistant with radiology duties. You will perform x-ray testing, assist with patient movement, document history and vitals, and support the provider during procedures. A background in radiology safety and appropriate licensure is essential.

Full-time schedule includes rotating 12-hour shifts with weekend work. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement plans, paid time off, and more. Prior MA experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS Certification is required.
• TN State X-Ray License is required.
• ARRT Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage check-in/out where needed.
• Communicate wait times and guide patients through treatment steps.
• Document vital signs, history, and medications accurately.
• Perform radiology procedures with safety and proper shielding.
• Ensure equipment is functioning and report malfunctions.
• Maintain radiology licensure and related certifications.
