Job summary

PeaceHealth Sacred Heart RiverBend Medical Center in Springfield, OR is seeking a Full-Time Night Shift Radiology Technologist. You will perform standard diagnostic X-ray exams, position patients, operate radiographic equipment and apply radiation safety as part of a busy Level II Trauma Center.

The role supports portable and fluoroscopy imaging as assigned and collaborates with a small overnight team. Qualified candidates have an accredited Radiologic Technology program, ARRT (or eligible), and

Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT (Radiography) certification or ARRT-eligible (certification within 6 months).
• Oregon Radiology Technologist license.
• OBMI temporary license accepted at hire for candidates awaiting ARRT-R.
• BLS is required upon hire.
• PACS/RIS experience; ability to work independently and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard diagnostic X-ray exams.
• Position patients and prepare exams for imaging.
• Operate radiographic equipment and ensure radiation safety and infection control.
• Review prior images and patient history in PACS/RIS.
• Collaborate with physicians and the overnight team as part of a busy Level II Trauma Center.

Pay

Pay Range: $41.67–$58.31/hr + Applicable Shift Differentials

About The Role & Setting

• Full-time night shift Radiology Technologist (1.0 FTE)
• Based in a busy Level II Trauma Center serving the Springfield/Eugene area
• Perform standard diagnostic X-ray exams
• May support:
  • Portables
  • Fluoroscopy
  • Surgical imaging (as assigned)
• Work includes:
  • Patient positioning and exam prep
  • Operating radiographic equipment
  • Applying radiation safety and infection control standards
  • Using PACS/RIS and reviewing prior images and patient history

• You’ll work with a smaller overnight team and a steady, focused workflow

Minimum Qualifications

• Accredited Radiologic Technology program
• ARRT (Radiography)
• ARRT-eligible candidates considered (certification required within 6 months)
• Oregon Radiology Technologist license
• OBMI temporary license accepted at hire for techs awaiting ARRT-R certification
• BLS (required upon hire)
• PACS/RIS experience
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and communicate clearly
• 1+ year of experience preferred (not required)
