Job summary

Northwell Health-GoHealth Urgent Care in Bulls Head, NY seeks a Radiologic Technologist (RT) part-time to perform radiographic examinations and support patient care. You will work with Medical Providers and Assistants, applying ionizing radiation and reporting results with accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities include proper patient positioning, adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining QA/QC logs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; graduate of accredited Radiologic Tech program required.
• ARRT registration and applicable state licensure required; BLS at hire.
• Prior clinical radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for x-ray services as needed.
• Perform x-ray services for patients from newborn to elderly under clinical direction.
• Ensure patients are positioned correctly and protected during use.
• Push patients in a wheelchair when needed.
• Follow operating instructions to perform and document daily controls and calibration; maintain QA/QC logs.
• Troubleshoot breakdowns and submit repair tickets; perform preventive maintenance.
