Working in Diagnostic Imaging at Sutter Health’s Palo Alto Medical Foundation means joining a leading healthcare organization that prioritizes innovation, quality, and patient-centered care. As part of Sutter Health, PAMF offers state-of-the-art imaging technology—CT, MRI, ultrasound, mammography, and more—allowing you to develop and refine advanced technical skills. Even if you’re newer to the field, PAMF is committed to training and mentorship: radiologic technologists are encouraged to cross-train in additional modalities (e.g., CT or mammography), enabling you to expand your expertise and career trajectory.
Beyond cutting-edge equipment, PAMF fosters a collaborative culture where radiologists, technologists, nurses, and support staff work closely to deliver timely, accurate diagnoses. You’ll benefit from comprehensive institutional support—robust continuing education programs, internal career ladders, and opportunities to participate in quality-improvement committees. With flexible scheduling, generous PTO, and strong work-life balance initiatives, PAMF recognizes that a healthy team translates to better patient outcomes.
PAMF’s Diagnostic Imaging department also emphasizes community impact: through outreach events and screening initiatives, you’ll contribute directly to early detection and preventative care in the Bay Area. Competitive compensation and a rich benefits package (medical, retirement, wellness resources) underscore Sutter Health’s investment in your personal and professional well-being. In short, choosing Diagnostic Imaging at PAMF means working with advanced technology, receiving ongoing training, collaborating within a multidisciplinary team, and making a tangible difference in patients’ lives—all within a supportive, growth-focused environment.
