The Therapeutic and Diagnostic Imaging service at the Dayton VA Medical Center is seeking a full-time Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (CT). The Technologist operates complex CT equipment to acquire diagnostic images of the human anatomy for patient care.
Applicants pending completion of educational or certification requirements may be considered tentatively but cannot be hired until all requirements are met.
At least one year of related experience demonstrating clinical competencies. The full performance level is GS-09, requiring independent operation of complex procedures, including advanced CT knowledge and skills.
Heavy lifting, prolonged standing, bending, visual and hearing acuity, and ability to wear lead aprons for extended periods.
Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:30 pm or 10:30 am to 7:00 pm, with variations based on department needs. Benefits include paid time off, parental leave, childcare subsidy, retirement plans, insurance, and federal holidays. Telework is not available.
