Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health Taylor Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiology procedures under radiologist supervision. The role includes weekend 3x12 shifts and on-call responsibilities, with emphasis on patient care and safety.

You will work with experienced radiology staff to deliver high-quality imaging, maintain equipment, and ensure accurate documentation while following established protocols and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R Radiography certification is required.
• Ability to perform high-quality radiology procedures per protocol.
• Capable of working weekends and on-call shifts.
• Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiology procedures as ordered by physicians to diagnose disease.
• Maintain imaging quality and adhere to established standards.
• Communicate with patients using AIDET and ensure patient comfort.
• Prepare patient and equipment for procedures; adjust exposure factors.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and proper documentation.
• Monitor dose reference levels and take action if limits are exceeded.
• Screen and verify patient information and consent forms.
• Maintain imaging records per department policies.
• Provide support to department staff and participate in training of new team members.
