Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center – Round Rock is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist for a full‑time weekend position (Saturday, Sunday, Monday). The MRI Tech performs diagnostic MR imaging under Radiologist supervision, manages safety screenings, and produces high‑quality images in a hospital imaging setting.

Qualified candidates will have MRI education and clinical experience, with responsibilities including patient communication, protocol adherence, and equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year of experience preferred.
• Certification in MRI (ARRT-MR or ARMRIT) or eligible required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality MRI examinations per orders and protocols.
• Review requests and histories to confirm correct MRI examination.
• Conduct MRI safety screenings for patients and staff.
