Novant Health Urgent Care seeks an X-Ray Technologist to operate radiographic equipment, capture diagnostic images, and assist providers with patient care at our Ridgeview center. The role includes triage and rooming patients, taking vitals, and summarizing visit reasons for physicians.

Ideal candidates hold a 1-year Radiographic Technology degree, a valid SC radiography license, CPR certification, and OSHA/HIPAA training.

Qualifications

• 1-year degree in Radiographic technology.
• Current SC license for radiographic technology.
• CPR certification (Healthcare Provider).
• OSHA/HIPAA compliance training.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts and weekends.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment and produce x-ray images for diagnosis.
• Triaging and rooming patients; take vitals and review history.
• Maintain infection control and radiation safety procedures.
• Keep accurate patient records and daily logs.
• Coordinate with front staff on patient flow and scheduling.
