Yale New Haven Health Urgent Care in Manchester, CT is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our fast-paced clinical team. The role includes performing diagnostic x-rays, ensuring patient safety, and supporting front office and medical procedures.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, ARRT certification, state radiography licensure, and graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technologist program; medical assistant training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• State licensure in Radiography and ARRT certification required.
• Medical Assistant program completion preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic x-rays as ordered.
• Explain procedures clearly and ensure patient comfort.
• Operate and maintain radiology equipment.
• Position and shield patients appropriately.
• Store and manage radiographic images per protocol.
• Greet and assist patients and visitors professionally.
• Answer phones, direct calls, and manage messages.
• Maintain and update patient records.
• Handle correspondence, insurance, billing, and scanning.
• Comply with HIPAA and OSHA standards.
