Job summary

CareSpot Urgent Care in Florida is hiring a X-Ray Tech to prepare and perform radiologic procedures and assist clinicians with patient care. The role includes keeping logs, ensuring shielding and ALARA standards, and supporting daily clinic operations.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent, licensure as RT or BMO, and BLS certification. Prior healthcare experience such as in ED or urgent care is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required as a baseline credential.
• Licensure as Radiologic Technologist (RT) or Basic Machine Operator (BMO) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Ability to pass AHCA Level II background screening.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform x-rays within scope of practice.
• Adhere to ALARA and patient shielding standards.
• Maintain an accurate log of exams performed including LMP and shielding.
• Verify the condition of network and x-ray server.
• Clean cassettes, table, and chest board after each procedure.
• Assist with daily front and back-office duties, including payments collected.
