Job summary

Mercyhealth in Rockford, IL, is seeking a radiologic technologist to perform diagnostic radiographic, portable, c‑arm, and fluoroscopic procedures on a third shift. You will review orders, educate patients, and ensure safety while coordinating with radiologists and using PACS for image submission.

The role requires ARRT Radiography registration, IL or WI licensure as applicable, and CPR/BLS certification. Minimal 1–3 years’ experience preferred, with a sign-on bonus available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology.
• 1–3 years experience preferred; new grads considered.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic, portable, c‑arm and fluoroscopic procedures.
• Reviews patients’ clinical history and labs as needed; coordinates with radiologist.
• Provides patient education and ensures safety per ALARA principles.
• Operates imaging equipment and positions patient for optimal study.
• Documents all data in EMR and uses PACS for image submission.
