Job summary

Mercy Medical Center in Aurora, IL is seeking a Radiology Technologist for a full-time, days shift. You will perform diagnostic radiographic procedures per department protocols, ensuring image quality and regulatory compliance.

You will also interface with patients and staff to meet imaging needs and participate in PI/QC activities, including PACS image transmission. The role requires ARRT-R certification, state fluoroscopy licensure, current BCLS, and at least one year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Licensure and fluoroscopy permit as required by State.
• ARRT-R is required.
• Must be familiar with State and Federal regulations.
• Current BCLS (AHA).
• At least one year of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic radiographic procedures according to department protocols and regulations (HFAP/TJC/local/CMS; State and Federal).
• Acts as primary interface with customers to fulfill imaging needs.
• Participates in PI/QC activities.
• Processes and transmits images to PACS.
