Radiologic Technologist (RAD TECH)

WORK LOCATION: Texas Health Dallas, 8200 Walnut Hill Ln, Dallas, TX 75231

WORK HOURS: PRN Rotating as needed, including holidays requirements

DEPARTMENT HIGHLIGHTS:
  • Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Heart Attack and Stroke Center

  • Over 75k procedures performed annually in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Cover ED, Inpatient, Outpatient, and Surgery
  • Equipment – DR diagnostic rooms and portables, fluoroscopy, C-arms, O-arm, robotic angiography systems
  • Team of 40+ staff
  • Holiday rotation required
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology/X-Ray Technology upon hire required or Associate degree preferred.
  • 1-year radiologic technologist or x-ray technologist experience preferred.
  • Surgery experience preferred.
  • CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, either by the TDH or TMB upon hire required.
  • ARRT – American Registry of Radiology within 6 months of hire required.
  • BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required.
  • Communication, computer, and venipuncture experience helpful.
